MOOCs & HKUx
HKU is both worldwide involved and the main thing on enhancements in studying and educating. From delayed 2014, we will offer our first large open web based programs (MOOCs) for a international viewers for free. Admission in Architechure
Entrance to the BA(AS) undergrad system is both extensive and aggressive. The Division particularly greets programs from learners with a wide variety of educational and social passions. Students from both Artistry and Technology sources are approved and candidates who have proven interest in it in style are motivated to implement to this method.


The Department’s JUPAS admission outcomes have been exceptional in the last five years and the BA(AS) system has become one of the best among all undergrad programs provided in Hong Kong. Students need to display proficiency in the British terminology.

  1. Candidates seeking entrance to the BAAS system are not needed but requested to publish a profile straight to the Staff Workplace of Structure with regards to the following guidelines:
  2. Candidates seeking entrance to the BAAS system may publish a small profile of art/design/creative perform straight to the Staff Workplace of Structure. An excellent profile is considered to illustrate sufficient proof inspiration in seeking structural study as well as perceptive and innovative ability;
  3. Please add a selection of history that will present an summary of your art/design/creative perform and the procedures behind it, such as images, blueprints, or growth drawings/models, anything that help us track your attitude, in addition to the finished work;
  4. The paintings chosen in the profile is predicted to add but is not restricted to artwork, printmaking, statue, images, photography, wood working, ceramics, set ups, or any other visible paintings that illustrate the applicant’s potential in style. Video, images of 3D things, self-generated tasks can all be involved. CDs/DVDs of additional content are also approved but only when associated with a printed out hard-copy portfolio;
  5. The profile should be printed out in no bigger than A4 size with highest possible 20 webpages. Candidates who publish a profile bigger than A4 will be requested to re-submit before their application can be processed;
  6. There is neither lowest nor most of tasks you may include;
  7. The profile should contain a visible history of the innovative works that the candidate has finished. If the candidate is not the only writer of the work(s), he or she should state his or her part in the work(s) and list the other collaborators;
  8. A brief written description (not essay) for each of the works of art should be involved within the profile pages;

Please do not publish unique perform, nor any designs other than printed out work;

  1. Letters of suggestions are not required; however, if you would like to publish recommendations, please keep them no more than three. Both smooth and difficult duplicates are appropriate.
